During our time in Koh Phangan, we stayed at two different hotels. Our first stay was at Sunset Serenity Cove, located in Baan Tai. This spot felt like a hidden gem — a small, simple shack right by the sea, complete with a hammock outside. The room was basic but clean and had everything we needed for a few relaxing beachfront days. Our second hotel was PHUPHA Bungalows, located in Haad Rin — ideal if you're planning to experience the Full Moon Party. Again, we had our own separate bungalow with a hammock, and while the room was quite basic, it was perfect for a few nights’ stay in a great location.

Day 1- Arrival & First Impressions
After stepping off the ferry, we headed straight to the taxi ramp and caught a shared ride to our accommodation. Once checked in, we took full advantage of the sunshine—swimming in the sea and relaxing outside. Next to our room was a bar with a pool table, so we grabbed a drink and played a few games.
For dinner, we went to Farida Halal Food Restaurant, a spot recommended by our hotel—and it definitely delivered! The food was amazing. After dinner, we wandered into town, browsed a few shops and market stalls, then headed back to our room to wind down.
Day 2- Exploring Haad Rin and the Full Moon Party
We checked out in the morning and grabbed breakfast at Hundred Islands Coffee Bar—a chill little place with good coffee. After that, we took a taxi (500 BHT) to our next hotel in Haad Rin.
Once we settled in, we relaxed on the deck for a bit, then went for a walk around the area. We explored the main strip and even found time for Adam to get a haircut.
Dinner was at Pure Joy Restaurant, which had a nice atmosphere and tasty food—definitely a good pick for a casual meal.
The rest of the evening was spent exactly how you’d hope: relaxing in a hammock on our balcony, followed by a night out on the beach for the iconic Full Moon Party.
It was incredible—walking along the beach from DJ to DJ, each playing different music styles. The energy was amazing, and the whole experience was something we’d absolutely recommend to anyone visiting Koh Phangan.
Day 3- Chill Day & Farewell
The next day, we kept things super relaxed. We had some food at Monnalisa Ristorante Italiano, then wandered around the town, which felt about half-empty after the night before. It was the perfect way to recover.
On our final morning, we checked out of our hotel and grabbed a taxi back to the ferry port, wrapping up our Koh Phangan adventure and getting ready for the next leg of the journey.
